waaaahhhhhhhhh....waaahhhh...

this is the sound of my day...

poor kai. he's teething and there's not much i can do about it. the poor kid is probably immune to the tylenol by now! it's so hard when someone you love is going through something and you just can't do anything to make it better. sad face.

speaking of kai, he needs prayer. we don't know what it is, but he has several dark spots on his body - back, sides, a small one behind his ear and such. i think they total 9 spots. the ped doesn't know what they are, but says they don't look cancerous...but we are going to the dermatologist tomorrow morning. so hopefully they are nothing, but i can't say that because two of them appeared on his behind about a week ago. not freaking out, which is good since my taylor johnson test says i'm off the chart under nervousness and no where near "composed". LOL. all kidding aside, we love our baby boy and hope it's nothing serious. so, if you think of us tomorrow morning, his appt is at 8:30am. xoxo

here kitty kitty

so it seems that today's theme is kitties! kara acted like a kitty all night at my parents house, then as i got home, i got out of the car, and our neighbor across the street, mark, had another neighbor with him and they had 3 kittens following them down the street. . . so i said "got a litter following you?" then he tells me that the guy he's with has chickens that lay eggs and many other animals in his backyard up the street and that he himself just got a turtle in his backyard pond. Didn't know my neighbors had so many animals...we just have a fish that looks like something you'd pick for your chinese dinner. oh and a kitty cat named kara.

beach

i love the beach. i feel connected to God there, watching the waves come in and out, feeling the wind reminds me of the holy spirit, how we cannot see him but we know he is there. Serenity of life there, the sounds, the surf, its just my place of retreat and relaxation.

We are going to take kara and kai there, it will be his first time going "to" the beach. He's 6-1/2 mos now and he is so cute, just starting to try and roll. He's currently taking a nap so we're waiting for him to wake up. Kara is already in her americana bathing suit, all ready for the 4th! =)

uh oh, there he is! time to go to the beach. more later.

all kinds of stuff

feeling like i need to make major changes in my life. where do i start? i am the least disciplined person. totally impulsive. how do you become something else? not sure. i wish i was more focused. i am just not sure how to "keep on keeping on" as my aunt doris embroidered on to a wall hanging my dad has in their bathroom. . . . i feel like i've said prayers, i've trusted God...

weekend is here, excited and hopeful for a nice time with the family. . . not sure what we're doing yet but i hope we have fun. that's all i ask for, a fun time with good peoples.
